Pop Up!

Tom

In the first of what we hope becomes a regular event on the Relish calendar, Tom Scade, head chef of Tides restaurant in Rock presented our first Pop-up restaurant. After a busy day in the cafe Tom took over the Relish kitchen and prepared and cooked a fantastic four course menu for 24 excited guests.
Each course was matched with wines selected by David McWilliam of binTwo in Padstow and the meal was rounded off with cheeses from Relish's deli counter and coffee by Hugo.

The event was a great success, we are now looking forward to our next event on July 6th when 2008 Masterchef champion James Nathan will be cooking a multi-course tasting menu. Each course will again be matched with a suitable wine from binTwo and rounded off with cheese & coffee from Relish.

New Chef!

Iain

We delighted to announce Relish has been joined by a new Chef, Iain Shillito.

Iain recently moved back to Wadebridge with his young family after three years in Downderry near Looe at The Blue Plate restaurant, home to well known chef Nick Barclay.

Iain's arrival at Relish has prompted a menu revamp that will allow him to showcase his style of cooking. Moules Mariniere and Thai fish broth have already wowed regular customers, with new breakfast choices, lunch sandwich combinations and delicious cakes planned.
The deli is already benefitting from Iain's experience; Homecured Salmon and homemade Ham Hock terrine as well as fresh pesto and freshly baked biscotti have all been flying off the shelves.

On Friday 20th July Iain will be cooking his first 'Pop-up' evening at Relish, the third such event at Relish that we hope to continue though out the year.
